PDMP with Osmind

As DrFirst is Osmind's e-prescribing vendor, you can elect to be enrolled with DrFirst's PDMP (Prescription Drug Monitoring Program). Osmind will work with you and DrFirst to facilitate this implementation process.

This systems allows providers to meet state requirements for prescribing checks, without having to log into their state PMP site separately.

If you are interested in being set up with PDMP through DrFirst, please open a ticket via your Osmind customer portal.

Important Notes

  • You must complete e‑prescribing enrollment with DrFirst before you can enroll in PDMP. If you haven’t set up e‑prescribing yet, follow the DrFirst e‑prescribing registration process first.

  • Osmind charges a one-time implementation fee of $500 per practice entity per state and $6/month per TIN.

    • Some states may subsidize any one time state implementation fees and the monthly recurring subscription cost. See the state‑by‑state listing here for specifics.

    • Note that the fee is separate from any state subsidies.

  • Implementation timelines can vary state by state, but are generally several weeks.

  • You will need to complete enrollment through the Bamboo Health Customer Connect Portal. The process involves:

    1. Go to https://connect.bamboohealth.com/

    2. Create an account by clicking ‘Create an Account’ in the top right corner (if you don’t already have one)

    3. Log in and follow the on‑screen prompts to provide the required information for your integration request

    4. Ensure that DrFirst is selected as the EMR/EHR Vendor for PDMP purposes

    5. Sign all necessary agreements within the portal and complete the application

    6. After completing your application, notify Osmind support through your ticket and confirm how you listed your Organization Name on the request forms.

    After you submit your application:

    • Bamboo Health will submit your request to the state for final approval

    • Upon state approval, credentials will be sent to your organization’s primary contact and/or DrFirst

    • A confirmation email will be sent to your healthcare organization’s primary point of contact

    DrFirst and Osmind will help walk you through these steps if needed.

Why can't other users see PDMP?

The PDMP registration is for prescribers only.
